PM Modi To Dedicate New Rail Line In Telangana To The Nation On 12 November

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the new railway line constructed between Bhadrachalam Road – Sattupalli in Telangana on 12 November.

Constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 990 crore, the new railway line stretches for a distance of 54.10 kms and has been completed in a record time of less than four years.

The rail project will bring new and unconnected areas in the Telangana onto the railway map for the first time and aid in the socio-economic development of the region.

The rail infrastructure project has been given major thrust by the centre by including it among the 14 most important coal evacuation projects in the country, leading to its constant monitoring and timely completion.

It will also facilitate in the transportation of the coal from the nearby
open cast coal mines to different power houses not only in Telangana but also to  different units spread across the nation.

The new railway line will provide a safe, fast and economic mode of transportation for the people and industry, while also promoting eco-friendly means of moving coal from the region.

Besides the new line, the PM will also inaugurate several key infrastructural projects at Mahatma Gandhi Stadium in Ramagundam.

These projects will play a key role in revitalising the infrastructure in  Telangana and will immensely boost the agricultural and industrial sector development in new directions.

The Governor and Chief Minister of Telangana along with other public representatives from the region will also be present on the occasion.
