Hyderabad Airport Metro Ltd (HAML) has issued a tender for the Design and Construction of the Hyderabad Airport Express Line.

The Hyderabad Airport Metro is a proposed rapid transit system that will connect the International Airport in Shamshabad with the city of Hyderabad in Telangana.

The line is 31 km long and will have nine stations. The project is estimated to cost Rs 6,250 crore and will be completed by 2026.

The Airport Metro is expected to be a major boost for the economy of Hyderabad. The airport is already one of the busiest in India and is expected to grow even more in the coming years.

The Airport Metro will connect the city to the airport and other major areas, such as the IT hub of Hitec City, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Nanakramguda, Narsingi, Kokapet etc.

Estimated to cost Rs 6,250 crore, the project is fully funded by the state government.
