Railways has created a new class as AC economy with lower fare than the normal AC-3 class to cater to the common man.
All 20 coaches will be AC economy class, said Northern Railway General Manager Ashutosh Gangal.
The first low fare AC economy superfast train with 20 coaches will be launched on October 29 for Patna from the national capital.

Named as Gati Shakti, the special service with lower fare than AC-3 will run between Anand Vihar and Patna with stoppages at Kanpur, Prayagraj, Varanasi, Pt Deen Dayal Upadhaya and Danapur stations enroute in both directions.
This is the first train with all 20 coaches AC economy class, said Northern Railway General Manager Ashutosh Gangal.
The fare of the AC economy is lower by 8 per cent from AC-3 class.
Earlier, AC economy coaches were being used in some trains but this is the first train where all its coaches are AC economy class.
The new AC economy coach can take 83 passengers instead of 72 in the conventional AC three-tier coach. The coaches were specially designed for the convenience of the disabled.
Modern arrangements have been made for mobile phones and magazine holders, fire safety. personalized reading lights, AC vents, USB points, mobile charging points, better ladder to climb to upper berth and snack tables.
Gati Shakti is expected to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festivals of Diwali and Chhath.
According to the Railways, Gati Shakti Superfast Special train will depart from Anand Vihar at 11.10 pm on October 29 and 31, November 2, 5, and 7 to arrive at Patna 3.45 pm the next day.
