Anji Bridge, the first cable-stayed railway bridge in the country, is part of the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.
The bridge construction has been divided into five segments. These include the building of the Katra-Udhampur segment, the Banihal-Banihal segment, the Quazigund-Baramulla segment, Quazigund-Banihal segment.
Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) is constructing the bridge, with a projected cost of 435 crores.
