A software modification has been done to facilitate display of useful messages regarding Helpline contact, Bio-toilets, customer complaints etc through means of the LCD screens located inside the sitting compartment area.

In order to curtail vibration noise, wall paneling has been secured and firmly locked. These panellings have been cleaned and polished to enhance the look of interiors.
Faded seats have been replaced with brighter new ones to ensure energetic ambience and to ensure passenger comfort during journeys.
A deep cleaning exercise has also been undertaken with toilets, interiors including racks, side panels, front and back of seats, while floor fitments are being cleaned to prevent foul smell.
Intensive cleaning with scrubbing of flooring is being ensured in every primary maintenance cleaning schedule.
“We are trying to maintain these trains in the best possible manner as our aim is to provide the best amenities to passengers,” Gangal said.
Theme-based paintings depicting rich and diverse Indian cultural heritage and values have been mounted on the interior walls of Executive Class coaches, imparting a serene view as well as enhancing their aesthetic appeal.

Thus, the horns were shifted to the roof, in order to curtail/reduce sound levels in the cabin.
The garbage generated during the journey was being collected and disposed of only at destination stations. This was causing accumulation of litter, giving rise to foul smell and imparting a shabby look to the gangway/ toilet area.
Therefore, efforts have been made to facilitate regular garbage/food waste disposal from trains so that the desired standards for cleanliness are maintained and sustained.
