Swarajya ‘’Mumbai Infrastructure And Realty Conclave 2024: The Grand Rebuilding of India’s First Metropolis’’
The conclave, presented by Maharashtra Development Corporation Ltd (MSRDC) and supported by National Stock Exchange (NSE), witnessed the coming together of city leaders, policymakers, urban authorities, corporate captains, city planners engineering head and transport experts who are playing a pivotal role in the massive infrastructure transformation currently underway in Mumbai.
A highly respected and well-regarded bureaucrat, Smt Ashwini Bhide IAS is played an instrumental role in envisioning and executing one of Mumbai’s most critical infrastructure project- Line 3 of Mumbai Metro. The project (part of which will open soon) is set to radically reshape commute in Mumbai.
As Smt. Bhide so eloquently put it describing the challenge of executing the project, “You have to actually cut open Mumbai’s belly at so many locations and then start constructing.”
Besides spearheading multiple metro project as the managing director of the Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation, Smt. Bhide also serves the additional Municipal commissioner of BMC.
