India’s tallest skyscraper will be constructed in Mumbai by United Kingdom-based SRAM & MRAM Group.
The 110-storey mixed-use building will be built in the Parel-Sewri neighbourhood of the city.
The opulent project was designed by architect Venkat Pillai of the Venkat Pillai Design Studio.
The skyscraper will have offices, stores, a mall, a hotel with 50 rooms, a hospital with 50 beds for specialised care, and serviced apartments. The tower will also include a gym, heated swimming pools, an entertainment centre, a 50-seat movie theatre, and dining space, according to the firm.
“Giving cities and countries a flavour of something new is what we aspire for, always. We take pride in our team and work as we add uniqueness to the structures we build. We are looking forward to giving life to the country’s tallest building,” Gurujee Kumaran Swami, vice chairman, SRAM & MRAM Group said, reports Economic Times (ET).
“This will not be just an accolade for that we have done so far but personal victories of our different teams and founding members who envisioned the group to reach this pinnacle of success of giving a country first of its kind structure. We are excited would be an understatement to say,” said SRAM & MRAM group director Raghav Kapur, added ET report.
